Chinese Chippendale

Chinese Chippendale refers to designs of cabinetmaker Thomas Chippendale

The design was popular in the United States in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

Prominent examples of the style exist on the wing terraces and uppermost balustrade at Thomas Jefferson's Monticello.
