Avala

AUTHENTIC HOME FURNISHINGS AT THE HIGHEST QUALITY

All of the porcelain reproductions carried by Avala International Inc. are made in China using thousand-year old techniques. We collaborate with our various cottage workshops to source and design beautiful porcelain ware, including Kangxi, Qing, multicolored, crackleware, rose medallion, imari, and more. Many items are one-of-a-kind and made specifically for Avala.

Our furniture reproductions are made using traditional Chinese joinery in a number of hand-rubbed finishes. Some pieces are made from wood salvaged from several hundred-year-old houses.

Every piece from Avala is unique and full of character. We sincerely hope that you enjoy our pieces as they become your heirlooms.

Bungalow 5

Inspired by history, made for today, always reaching for the future.  We have a passion for bringing a modern perspective to classic luxury.

We collaborate with handpicked craftsmen from all corners of the world to create unique materials. Our pieces feature meticulous craftsmanship, whether hand-wrapped grass-cloth furniture or hand-hammered metal accessories, every detail is considered. From sketch to final product, we take pride in perfection.

Many of our collections took years in the making. We strive to create glamorous home decor that lasts.

Caskata Artisanal Home

We make dinnerware because we love to entertain.

We love gathering around the table, with good food, drink and lots of stories. We believe cooking is a creative way of expressing love.  Sharing it with family and friends brings us much joy. To us, making it all look beautiful is an important part of that experience.

In the absence of dinnerware that reflected our sense of chic, classic style, we started designing and making dinnerware we wanted to use. Our unique blend of classic and contemporary pieces are easy to mix and match, and make it simple to set a table you will love.

We make much of what we offer by hand in our sky lit studios in Massachusetts.  We are a merry band of women creating exceptionally beautiful and usable pieces for your table and your home.

Kenian

In the year 2000, inspired by the beauty of Tortoise Bamboo and Vintage Rattan I started a company with a simple goal of making beautiful, casual furniture that could be used and enjoyed for generations.  My children were the inspiration for the company’s name, an acronym that incorporates both names, Kendall & Ian, thus Kenian.  Born with Down Syndrome, Ian is a constant inspiration to me and everyone lucky enough to make his acquaintance.  An avid sports lover and player of basketball, Ian inspires us to contribute a portion of Kenian’s profits to the Special Olympics Virginia Beach.

Ryan Studio

Known for her sophisticated and timeless designs, Debra Ryan, designer and founder of Legacy Home and RYAN STUDIO, has captivated the marketplace for more than 20 years creating and manufacturing high end bedding and accessories for the luxury market.

Today, the RYAN STUDIO pillow collection includes stylish sophisticates, chic contemporaries, and crisp casuals all expertly tailored with standard feather-down fill and zipper closure. Each is produced domestically by the highly skilled artisans in our Virginia workrooms.
